Terms of Use
Help Me Stack lets anyone claim one of 1,000 squares on a shared board for a fixed 0.001 BTC. Claiming a square is a voluntary contribution in exchange for a permanent, personalised spot on the board — it is not an investment, a security, or a lottery.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of helpmestack.com (the "Site") and the claiming of a square (a "Piece"). By claiming a Piece or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site is operated by its owner, Kailin ("we", "us", "our"), based in South Africa. You can reach us at kailinte7@gmail.com.
You are not buying a share, token, security, or financial product, and you are not lending us money. You receive no ownership, dividend, yield, profit, voting right, or expectation of financial return. A Piece is a permanent personalised entry on a web page — nothing more. Do not claim a Piece expecting any financial benefit.
01 What you get
When your payment of 0.001 BTC is confirmed on the Bitcoin network, the Piece you selected is marked as yours on the board. You may add a display name, a short message, a link, and an image to that Piece, subject to the content rules below. Your Piece is intended to remain on the board permanently, but see "Availability" below.
02 Payment & the blockchain
- Each Piece costs a fixed 0.001 BTC. You pay by sending bitcoin to a unique address shown at checkout.
- We never take custody of your funds through a third party — bitcoin you send goes directly to a self-custodied wallet controlled by the owner. We only read the public blockchain to confirm your payment.
- Bitcoin transactions are irreversible. Once sent, a payment cannot be reversed, cancelled, or charged back by us. Send carefully.
- Send the exact amount to the exact address shown, within the reservation window. If you underpay, your Piece may be held for top-up or released; if you overpay, the excess is not refundable as a matter of course. Network ("miner") fees are your responsibility.
- A reservation is temporary. If payment is not confirmed within the reservation window, the Piece is released and becomes available to others.
03 Refunds
Because payments are made in bitcoin and settle irreversibly on-chain, claims are generally final and non-refundable. If something goes wrong with your payment — for example a genuine underpayment or a technical error — contact us at kailinte7@gmail.com and we will try to resolve it fairly, but we cannot guarantee a refund.
04 Your content
You are responsible for any name, message, link, or image you attach to your Piece ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it does not break these Terms or any law.
You must not submit content that:
- is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or obscene;
- is sexually explicit, or exploits or endangers minors;
- promotes scams, fraud, phishing, malware, or misleading financial schemes;
- links to malicious, deceptive, or harmful destinations;
- infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights; or
- impersonates another person or brand.
To keep the board safe for everyone, we review all submitted links and images. We may edit, blank, hide, or remove any content, or reclaim a Piece, at our discretion and without notice — particularly where content is unsafe, unlawful, or breaches these Terms. Moderation may happen before or after a Piece goes live.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display Your Content on the Site for the purpose of operating the board.
05 Availability & changes
We aim to keep the board and every claimed Piece online indefinitely, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site, or remove content that breaches these Terms, at any time.
06 Assumption of risk
You understand that bitcoin is volatile, that self-custody and wallet software carry risk, and that on-chain payments are irreversible. You are solely responsible for using a wallet you control, for sending the correct amount, and for the security of your own devices and keys.
07 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss of funds arising from your own error, wallet issues, network conditions, or matters beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
08 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
09 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
